Malawi Commemorates International Day of People with Disabilities.

Malawi yesterday joined the rest of the world in commemorating International Day of People with Disabilities.

The commemoration which ook place in Chileka were graced by the presence of Minister of Gender, Disability and Social Welfare Mary Navicha.

Prior to the commemorations, Navicha toured pavilions where people with disabilities showcased their works in various developmental activities.

This year’s theme is “Promoting the participation of persons with disabilities and their leadership taking action on the 2030 development agenda.”
