Lilongwe Water Board CEO Alfonso Chikuni kicked out

Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) Chief Executive Officer Alfonso Chikuni has been kicked out of his position and has since been replaced by Moses Masiye, in acting capacity.

Chief Secretary to Government Lloyd Muhara has confirmed of the development in a letter dated December 9, 2019 seen by Faceofmalawi reporter.

According to Muhara, Chikuni has been moved to the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development where he will serve as chief director responsible for irrigation and water development.

The move is with immediate effect.
