Army school teacher ‘sodomises’ eight students for over a year

It seems there is no escape from sexual predators at any place. And when the ‘gurus’ themselves become one, it becomes more saddening and shocking.

In the latest case, eight students of army school in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan have alleged sodomy by their teacher. The victims claimed that the sexual abuse took place over a period of one year.

The matter came to light after two of the students narrated their ordeal to the school principal, who in turn reported the crime to police.

Meanwhile, Sardar thana police in Jhunjhunu have arrested the teacher, who was working as a probationer in army school. The incident has sparked outrage in the area following the incident of sexual abuse in such an elite government institution.

In a similar incident reported from Uttarakhand, an 11-year-old boy was sodomised by a 16-year-old boy inside the premises of a premier institute for the visually impaired in Dehradun. The matter came to light only when the victim complained to the principal of the institute on Rajpur Road. The accused has since been arrested and handed over to the police. He was kept under house arrest at the same institute.

According to a police officer, the alleged act of sodomy took place on September 2. An internal probe was initiated after the victim complained to the principal of the institute. After this, the principal Deepika Mathur approached the Rajpur Marg Police Station only on September 6.
