Catholic Bishops Urge Malawians to be Ready for Presidential Polls Case Outcome

Catholic Bishops have asked Malawians to be ready for any outcome of the presidential case hearing in Lilongwe at the Constitutional Court.

This has been said in press statement released by the Bishops under the Episcopal Conference of Malawi.

According to the Bishops failing to prepare Malawians on the polls case outcome, the country’s peace and unity will be at stake.

In the statement, the Bishops condemn all the forms ok violence that Malawi continues to witness on political, regional and tribal lines.

United Transformation Movement (UTM) leader Saulos Chilima and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) president Lazarus Chakwera are seeking nullification of the May 21 presidential poll results citing they were marred with irregularities.
