kenyan Female Artiste ‘forced’ to put on Islamic attires to attend Diamond’s family function

TANZANIA – On Thursday while most Kenyans were marking Jamhuri Day celebrations in the country, Kenyan singer and radio host Tanasha Donna was in Tanzania.

Tanasha who has been in the country since the week started had to fly back to Tanzania to join her lover, singer Diamond Platnumz, in a family function.

Diamond’s step-sister, Queen Darleen, was welcoming her family at her new home after she got married a few weeks ago. The party was held at her home at Mbezi Beach in Dar es Salaam.

Since Diamond’s family is of Islamic religion, the party was held with Islamic rules considerations, including putting on attires that goes hand in hand with their beliefs.

Tanasha Donna who is a Christian, had no otherwise but to do what the Romans do once in Rome.

The mother of one had to put on an oversize ‘maternity-like’ dress with a headscarf, commonly known as ‘Mtandio’ among Islamic people, which is used to cover a woman’s hair so that it is not seen.

Tanasha who is used to a different kind of dress code did not look totally comfortable in her new look. At some point when the part was still going on, she was seen without the headscarf.

Here is the video showing how Tanasha was ‘rocking’ in Islamic attires
