Malawians push for the return of Brian Banda at Times tv

Malawians have taken to the social media asking Times Media Group management to recall award winning Television presenter and radio personality Brian Banda or risk losing followers.

Last week, the social media was awash with reports that Brian Banda, the man behind Hot Current program has been forced to resign for professional misconduct.

Inside sources indicated that Banda and management parted ways based on mutual understanding and not corruption as indicated on the social media.

The departure of Brian Banda on Times Television has attracted mixed views among Malawians with many pushing for the return of Banda or risk losing viewers.

Some even went further by trashing Times tv anniversary, saying with Brian Banda Times tv anniversary is useless.

One of the concerned Times tv follower identified as Winston Sunesis Muyira wrote: “Please bring back Brain,chonde we love times,if Brain is around.”

On his part Charles Twitch Nyerere wrote: “Anniversary yopanda Brian Banda are you serious with your viewers 😏😏 u guys are sick in the brain, can’t reason.”

Monica Bottoman wrote: “Zodiak people employ Brian Banda so that he should continue giving us hot current and one Malawi nation at your station , times its now over without him , please employ him we really need him in TV presentations.”

Another person identified as Promise Fanuel wrote: “Admit it or not Brian Banda is good yeah sometimes amaphwanya malamuro a journalism but rules are meant to be broken kumene thats why he is unique able to break the rules & still bring a positive impact amamumveratu andalewa Brian.”

Meanwhile it is yet to been seen if Times Group Management will recall Banda.
