School Resource Officer Slams Young Student To The Round Twice Then Drags Him Down The Corridor (Video)

The shocking moment a school resource officer brutally slammed a young boy to the floor twice was caught on camera and it has shocked viewers.

In the footage of the incident recorded on Thursday, December 12, at Vance County Middle School in Henderson, North Carolina, the officer is seen walking the student down the hallway.

Midway through the hall, the officer abruptly stops and picks the boy up before slamming him to the ground head first. He then lifts the student and slams him again.

Afterwards, the man drags the student by the shirt off camera.

According to the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, the child is under 12 years old.

Sheriff Curtis Brame said: “I was stunned and shocked because I have eight grandchildren, four between the ages of 8 and 13. To see a child that small reminded me of one of my grandchildren.”

The child was not hospitalized, but has a bump on his head, according to Sheriff Brame.

The officer, who has not been named, has been placed on paid leave pending an investigation, Brame told WRAL.

In a Facebook Live video, Henderson City Council member, Jason Spriggs said: “It’s obvious that the child was assaulted. To see this is just horrifying. It’s a rough video. I can’t imagine my child going through something like that.”

The investigation into the officer’s actions has been handed over to the State Bureau of Investigation.

The victim’s father told CNN that he and the boy’s mother are “very upset” regarding the incident.
