25-Year-Old Lady Gives Birth to Two Sets of Twins in 2019 Only

A single mother who gave birth to a set of twins on March 13, 2019, gave birth to another set of twins on December 27 the same year.

Alexzandria Wolliston who lives in Florida believes that the twins are a gift because she recently learned from her mother that her paternal and maternal grandmothers had lost twin boys at birth.

Reports say both her first set of twin boys, Mark and Malakhi and the second set, Kaylen and Kayleb were all conceived naturally.

But the last set of twins, Kaylen and Kaleb, were born prematurely at 34 weeks.

“I always say that I feel like my grandmothers gave me their kids because two sets of twins and their twins passed away. I feel like they just sent them down for me. When my mom told me, and my aunties and uncles on my dad’s side told me, I was like shocked,” she said.

Alexzandria who also has a three-year-old girl said her doctor told her in June 2019 that she was expecting her second set of twins.

“I never thought that it could happen that fast and it did. I was worried about how my body would be able to handle a back-to-back twin pregnancy,” she said.

According to reports, her doctor further heightened her fear by telling her that she had better chances of winning a lottery than having two sets of twins and delivering them in the same year.

The first set of twins were considered high risk because they were in the same sac using only one placenta.

Thankfully, the second set of twins didn’t pose much risk, and Alexzandria was only required to visit her doctor once a month throughout her pregnancy.

Being a single mother, she opened a GoFundMe page asking for help to raise $10,000 (GHS57,018.44).

Despite the fears, she has successfully given birth to the second set of twins in the same year without as much difficulty as her doctors had made her believe.
