Kabwila accused of threatening Judges handling Presidential polls case

Former Member of Parliament for Salima Jessie Kabwila will answer two counts, faceofmalawi can reveal.

National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzera confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying Kabwila will answer two charges, threatening public order and threatening Judges in the Presidential case.

According to a video that has gone viral on the social media, Kabwila is head that she will deal with anyone abusing women in the country.

Kabwila also warned Judges in the Presidential case that Malawians will not allow anyone to tamper with the Constitution of the land in the case.

She further warned that the country will be on fire if the charges handling the Presidential case rule in favour the ruling Democratic Progress Party (DPP).

Speaking in interview with press, Kadadzera said Kabwila’s have the potential to cause anarchy in the country hence the arrest.

Kabwila is suspected to have uttered the remarks on Thursday during the demonstrations organised by Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC).

HRDC organised the demonstration to force the police to arrest it’s fellow officers accused of raping women in Msundwe.
