Man Arrested for Dressing Up as a Woman in Chilomoni, Pretends to be Sex Worker

A man has been arrested by Malawi police in the commercial capital of Blantyre for allegedly dressing up as a woman to scam men.

According to reports, the yet to be identified man was arrested in Chilomoni township as he dressed up as a woman pretending to be a sex worker.

It is said the man could dress up as a woman in a bid to get booked by men for sexual advances. Upon going to the room with him, he would attack his victims and rob them off valuable items.

Meanwhile, he is being kept in police custody waiting for completion of investigation into the matter before court sitting.
