MDF Block Protesters From Going to MEC Offices in Blantyre

Malawi Defense Force has blocked the road at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital to restrain demonstrators from going to Malawi Electoral Commission head office.
Meanwhile, all the protesters have stopped waiting for direction from the organizers of the protest, the Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC)
HRDC Blantyre Chairperson Masauko Thawe is engaging police officers to allow the protesters proceed to MEC offices.
HRDC is holding nation wide demonstrations calling for MEC chairperson justice Jane Ansah to step down for mismanaging May 21, 2019 elections.
