Airtel Malawi listed on Malawi Stock Exchange

Airtel Malawi has officially listed on Malawi Stock Exchange this morning.

It has gained by K5.30 in 8 trades to trade at K17.99 per share from the Initial Public Offering (IPO) price of K12.69.

Trading is still in progress. But by 10am the volumes traded on the Airtel Malawi counter were 936 870.

Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mark Botoman presided over the ceremony this morning.
