Boy(4) Informs Father About Mother’s Affair, Thrashed To Death

The police in Madurai,India are on the lookout for a man who allegedly thrashed a minor boy to death.

The man, identified as Sorimuthu brutally beat up the four-year-old boy on Friday at a lodge. The child was rushed to a hospital at the earliest and he breathed his last on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as A Lokesh. Lokesh’s mother Deepa has been arrested but her paramour, the accused is still on the run. Allegedly, Deepa and Sorimuthu were having an extra-marital affair.

Deepa is a native of Pollachi, Coimbatore. She got married to Antony Prakash in 2015 and the couple settled in Antony’s village Vickramansingapuram. The couple also became parents to a boy.

After some time, Deepa and Sorimuthu began a courtship despite the former’s marital status. On Friday, Deepa and her paramour went to a private lodge in Tirunelveli while Antony was at work. Deepa and Sorimuthu also took 4-year-old Lokesh with them.

When Antony learned that his wife was not at home, he asked her to make a video call on WhatsApp, as he was suspicious of her whereabouts. Deepa did not call Antony and the same, fuelled his suspicion. Allegedly, Deepa and Sorimuthu locked Lokesh outside their room and Sorimuthu even slapped the minor.

According to the information gathered , Lokesh was standing out of the room with his mother’s phone when Antony called. Lokesh received the call and informed his father about Sorimuthu. The four-year-old boy narrated his ordeal to his father on the phone and told him that Sorimuthu had slapped him.

The incident took a turn for the worse when the boy’s mother and paramour learned about his conversation. Sorimuthu flew into a rage and started thrashing the boy.

The child lost consciousness, following which, he was admitted to the Tirunelveli government medical college hospital. After admitting the child to the hospital, Sorimuthu escaped. The police arrested Deepa after the child died. The police have not registered an FIR yet.
