DPP Councilor Leornad Chimbanga Reveals ‘Blue Camp Wants Chilima with Nankhumwa as Vice’

A Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) councilor Leornad Chimbanga has revealed that there is a growing dose of frustration and panic in the blue camp in a leaked audio clip which has gone viral in all social media platforms.

In the audio clip, Chimbanga as revealed that most of the youth in the DPP are opting for the state vice president Saulos Chilima who is also a United Transformation Movement (UTM) leader to lead the party with DPP southern region vice president Kondwani Nankhumwa as running mate.

This follows the Constitutional Court’s ruling which was delivered on February 3, 2020 which nullified the May 21, 2019 presidential elections and reinstated Chilima as the vice president of the country.

According to Chimbanga, DPP cadets have written the party’s leadership to meet their demands if they (party officials) still want to use them in the fresh elections campaign some include respecting Chilima and giving him back all his benefits regarding to the position he is holding.

Divulging more, Chimbanga said the youth do not want Everton Chimulirenji to be the running mate if Peter Mutharika maintains his stand to contest in the fresh elections as a result Chimulirenji will be sent to embassy.

The right hand man for Mutharika Paulos Chisale and the first lady Gertrude Mutharika have not been left out by the cleaning bloom as they (cadets) have demanded that the two should put their hands off from DPP business.

Telling his friend Chimbanga said they will do anything possible to make sure that Mutharika leaves his position to young patriots.
