LILONGWE – Judiciary spokes person Agness Patemba has confirmed that the Supreme Court of Appeal will hear an appeal application by Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) and President Peter Mutharika against on 15th April in Lilongwe.

On February 3, the High Court sitting as the Constitutional Court nullified May 21 Presidential Elections due to irregularities.

Meanwhile, respondents MEC and President Peter Mutharika have been given 7 days from today to filetheir arguments.And applicants Saulos Chilima and Lazarus Chakwera will also be given 7 days to respond.

The Supreme Court of Appeal judges will be given 14 days to study the arguments.
