Thomas Thumba, a Chiradzulu ambulance driver whose video circulated on social media for being drunk has been arrested by Chiradzulu police.
Chiradzulu Police Public Relations Officer, Yohane Tasowana confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press.
According to Tasowana, the suspect has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, contrary to section 128 of Road Traffic Act.
The suspect will appear in court soon.
Thumba hails from Truwa Village, in the area of Traditional Authority Kadewere in Chiradzulu.
