Zambian Parliament Suspended Over COVID-19

Zambian parliament has been suspended as part ofstopping the spread of coronavirus after the the country confirmed its first two cases of the virus on Wednesday.

The country’s health Minister, Chitalu Chilufya confirmed that a couple who had travelled to France have tested positive to the COVID-19.

They were told to self-isolate on their return home on Sunday after they had gone on holiday for 10 days with their two children.

Both the parents and the children have been isolated at a facility in Chilanga.
