BCC Says Ban of Social Gathering will be Lifted Once Coronavirus Threat Has Ended

Blantyre City Council (BCC) has said the ban on various social gatherings will be lifted once the coronavirus threat end.
Yesterday, the council banned weddings, engagement ceremonies, parties, sports activities, night clubs and street vending.
The ban is a response to the outbreak to protect residents against the pandemic.
A week ago President Peter Mutharika declared a state of disaster and also banned gatherings of more than one hundred people.
Malawi has not registered any case of the Covid-19 despite neighboring countries registering the case
