It Is Done! MCP/UTM Alliance Sealed

The much awaited Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) Alliance has been sealed at Kamuzu Institute for Youth in Lilongwe.

The possible alliance between MCP and UTM has been finalized today in Lilongwe ahead of the forthcoming fresh presidential polls to be held on May 19, 2020.

Sealing the agreement, MCP and UTM secretary general Eisenhower Mkaka and Patricia Kaliati were seen signing the papers agreeing that they have indeed endorsed the electoral alliance, before Lazarus Chakwera and Saulos Chilima finished it all.

Few weeks ago, Democratic progressive Party (DPP) announced of the electoral alliance with the United Democratic Front (UDF) ahead of fresh elections.
