Hotel Attendant Nabbed For Stabbing A Guest To Death

In Lagos,Nigeria – An attendant at a makeshift inn who has been identified as Emmanuel Ben has been arrested for allegedly murdering a customer over N1, 200 service fee in Whitesand, Ijora-Badia area of Lagos State.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Bala Elkana confirmed the incident.

According to eyewitness, the customer who has been identified as White London was stabbed after he refused to pay for the service fee as agreed which led to an argument.

After stubbing the 25-year-old man with a knife, the suspect was reportedly trying to flee the scene but was held by some vigilance men who handed him over to the police.

As reported by Punch News, the deceased victim bled to death at the spot before policemen from the Ijora Division arrived at the scene.

The incident caused a commotion in the neighbourhood and a distress call was put across to the police from the Ijora Division.

The murder weapon used in the crime was recovered at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
