Political Instability Affects Bantu Arts and Craft Business

One of the manufacturers and distributors of Leather shoes in the country Bantu Arts and Craft Company has been affected by political impasse since last year.

Speaking in an interview Founder and managing Director Edward Malunga said during the past years the company used to make a lot of money but 2019 they failed to make more profit due to political instability.

“Because of political impasses most customers were not certain to buy our products hence there was slow of doing business.

However he urged all Malawians to unite and assist each other through promoting local companies goods by buying Malawian products to develop country’s economy.

He said as one way of creating more jobs opportunity in the country Malawians need to help each other through the initiative established by the President Arthur Peter Mutharika of buy Malawian products some years ago.

Bantu Arts and Crafts which is located in Trade Fair ground plot number 6 produces quality shoes to  meet international standards.
