UTM, MCP Alliance Signing Agreement Ceremony On Today

All is set for the United Transformation Movement (UTM) and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Alliance Signing Ceremony at Kamuzu Institute in Lilongwe today.

The move comes as parties are preparing for the ordered fresh presidential poll.

The roads will now lead to the Kamuzu Youth Institute of Sports where the parties will put pen to paper.

The agreement is also clumped by former ruling People’s Party, Aford, Mafunde, Umodzi Party, Freedom Party and PPM.

MCP Spokesperson Maurice Munthali says all the preparations for the event are done and urged people to grace the event.

Meanwhile, Joseph Chidanti Malunga – spokesperson for UTM has described the agreement as a symbol of national unity.
