HRDC seeking injunction at High Court against Mutharika’s 21 days lockdown

Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that lawyers for Human Rights Defenders Coalition(HRDC) lawyers are currently at the High Court in Lilongwe seeking an injunction to stop the impending countrywide 21 days lockdown.
President Peter Mutharika on Tuesday declared 21 days lockdown as one way of controlling the spread of coronavirus.
The declaration has attracted mixed reactions with many questioning the rationale behind the move.
