Polytechnic student dies of Leukemia

Death has been announced of a second year student at Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University of Malawi (UNIMA).

The student identified as Khumbo Mwafulirwa died on Monday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.

Polytechinic Student Union President Kunozga Mlowoka confirmed of the development in in a statement released on Tuesday made available to Faceofmalawi.

According to Mlowoka, Mwafulirwa died of Leukemia.
