Chaos in Dedza as villagers protest against Chief Kapesi

Angry villagers from Kapesi village in Dedza are marching again to the district council offices to demand answers on why their farming land is allegedly being sold by their group village headman Kapesi.

Last week Friday ,the villagers also stormed the Council offices demanding answers but they were told to come today to get feedback.

The Council is planning to sell plots to people in the area of Kapesi but the villagers were not told hence accusing their group village headman hence the demonstrations.

Despite corona Virus has hit Malawi and people are not allowed to gather in large numbers ,the villagers are still marching .
