Covid-19: Death Toll Risen to 2

Health Minister Jappie Mhango has announced that the death toll from Covid-19 in the country has risen to two.

This follows the death of a Lilongwe based Canadian of Burundi origin.

Mhango, who is addressing the media in Mzuzu, said the person has died at Bwaila Hospital.

He added that the deceased wife and in-law have also texted positive.

In another development, a Nkhotakota based man who recently returned from South Africa, has also tested positive, putting the number of cases to 12.
