The Founder and Managing Director for General Vision Screen Printers (GVSP) Comrade Dr Feston Kaphanya has said people in the country should fear God not Covid-19.
He was reacting to directive by Government that people should not do gatherings like going to church. But Kaphanya is on a separate side from that saying in the church is where people can receive intervention from almighty God.
“If Conoran virus was started in African no European and Asians countries would close their shops like what we are doing in Africa,” he said, adding that the virus is not for African countries.
He said when reading book of Exodus 14 from 13-14, Moses told Israel that they should not fear Egyptians because they will no longer see them as God will fight for them while they are at ease.
He said the company is not making business at the moment because the companies and organizations cancelled orders from them due to government directive not to hold functions, weddings and events.
He said the solution for Corona Virus is to remove fear among all Malawians and start doing their business and their work as normal so that the country can develop social and economically.
Kaphaya also said in South Africa and America they have reserved money to give to small and Medium Enterprises whose shops have been closed due to Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Africa has over 4600 confirmed Covid-19 cases and about 150 deaths in 55 countries 0f the continent.
