The Asunafo South District Police Command in the Brong Ahafo region,Ghana is on the search for a 50-year-old-man identified as Agya Yakubu Kangriga for allegedly butchering his wife to death.
The wife identified as Yaa Werimah met her untimely death when she was butchered by her husband and left to die.
This sad incident occurred on Tuesday,31 March 2020 at the victim’s farm near Abuom forest reserve at Sankore.
Kukuom District Police Command, ASP Lawrence Adomire told Adom News that the incident happened in the presence of their 16-year-old daughter who managed to escape the attack when the suspect pounced on her after killing her mother.
The reason for the murder is yet to be known since the suspect is on the run.
The body of the deceased is being taken to the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary awaiting preservation and autopsy.
