Mhango, Botomani caught pants down discussing how to plunder COVID-19 money (watch video)

It never rains but pours for a special Cabinet Committee on Coronavirus pandemic instituted by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika in the country as it has been revealed the committee is drawing huge allowances.

This has been confirmed in a video clip of Minister of Health and Population Jappie Mhango who is also Chairperson of the committee on COVID-19 and Minister of Information and Civic Education Mark Botomani.

According to a video clip which has gone viral on social media, Botomani is seen discussing with Mhango on the issue of allowances while on the podium.
The two Ministers forgot that the microphone was capturing everything that they were discussing regarding allowances.

Meanwhile the video clip has attracted mixed reactions with many Malawians calling for the immediate firing of the whole special Cabinet Committee.

Aaron Chikomeni Frank Nyirenda wrote: “This is sad every Malawian including dpp members and supporters should be outrage by this kind of plunder.”

Concurring with Nyirenda’s remarks Aaron Makwakwa wrote: “This is very embarrassing.. we know there is plunder of resources but this is a new low. Absolutely shameful.”

Debate on the matter continues.
