State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also a runningmate to Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of Tonse Alliance has said Malawi is not an estate for two families.
Chilima said this during a whistle stop held on Friday in Ntcheu District.
In his speech, Chilima said time has come for Malawians to say no to the trap set by the Muluzi and Mutharika families.
He said the two families, which have ruled Malawi since 1994, would like to make Malawians believe that they are the only families with a monopoly of wisdom in Malawi.
According to Chilima, Tonse Alliance will bring factories in Malawi, including Ntcheu.
He stressed that the people of Malawi have a golden opportunity to bring a government that will give them jobs.
