Kaliati asks Dausi to repent over then MCP atrocities

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has accused Minister of Homeland Security Nicholas Dausi of being behind the then atrocities that happened in the main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

Speaking during a Tonse Alliance rally held on Sunday at Likuni Boys ground in the capital Lilongwe ahead of the fresh Presidential polls, Kaliati said the current MCP led by Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is not the same that ruled the country under one party.

Kaliati said Dausi was behind of the evil things that happened then.

“Dausi be frank.. Don’t cheat the nation that MCP is wicked when it’s you who exercised wickedness and unreached terror when you in the party, a thing you are also doing in DPP,” said Kaliati while attracting ululation from the crowd.

She added: “You should repent for what you did”.

Then Kaliati asked Malawians to vote for Chakwera and his runningmate Dr. Saulos Chilima in the fresh Presidential polls.
