Atupele Says APM Awaits Police Report of Tambala Family Arson

Running-mate of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP)-United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi has said President Peter Mutharika is waiting for police report who are investigating the burning of Tambala family in Lilongwe.

Muluzi said this yesterday I the capital where he held whistle-stop tours with other party officials from the alliance.

According to Muluzi he was shocked to hear the news about the death of three memes of the Tambala family.

Three member of the Tambala family died at Kamuzu Central Hospital following a petrol bomb attack of United Transformation Movement (UTM) office where Mr. Tambala was guarding.

Mr. Tambala, his wife and their son died from the attack leaving out three children with injuries.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the matter but no arrest have not been made.
