Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is also Tonse Alliance torchbearer has promised to develop the country once voted into power in the fresh Presidential polls.
Chakwera said this during whistle stop tours in Lilongwe rural on Friday.
In his speech, Chakwera said once voted into power, there will be development in every corner of the country without favoritism.
He promises one million jobs and business to women.
Malawi will hold fresh Presidential polls on June 23, 2020 following constitutional court order nullifying the May 21, 2019 Presidential polls.
The court declared that President Peter Mutharika of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) was not duly elected.
