Drunk Cop Harasses Woman, Touches Her Inappropriately

A police head constable allegedly eve-teased a woman in Haryana’s Safidon and touched her inappropriately while he was in an inebriated state. After the incident, the woman lodged a complaint and an inquiry was ordered against the accused.

The complainant said that she hails from Bihar but for the last year, she has been staying in Ward 4 in Safidon. The accused was identified as Satyavan.

At around 8 pm, the accused arrived at the woman’s residence in an inebriated state. The accused started saying that he would take the woman to Senior Secondary School which has been built for migrant workers.

When the woman said that the accused should come in the morning, he allegedly started forcing her. The woman claimed that the accused entered her house with wrong intentions.

The constable then touched the woman inappropriately. When the woman’s husband raised an objection, the accused silenced him by shouting at him.

When the woman’s husband raised an alarm, the neighbours gathered on the spot and also filmed a video of the accused.

In the video, the accused’s nose seems to be injured and he appears to have fallen somewhere. Meanwhile, some of the locals informed the police, Dainik Bhaskar reported.

The Safidon police rushed to the spot and took the accused away from the scene.

The police also sent the head constable for a medical examination. Until the inquiry against him is completed, the accused will remain temporarily attached to the District Lines.
