Mbakuwaku President Peter Kuwani maintains May 2019 runningmate

Mbakuwaku Movement for Development (MMD) President Peter Kuwani has maintained the May 21, 2019 running mate, Archibald MacMillan Kalawang’ma.

Kuwani unveiled his running mate on Wednesday afternoon at Mount Soche when he was presenting his nomination papers to Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).

In his speech Kuwani hailed his runningmate for standing the test of time.

Earlier this year Kuwani placed an advert in one of the local daily papers seeking for the runningmate ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for July 2, 2020.

Meanwhile Kuwani has trashed the grand alliance of the main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and the United Transformation Movement (UTM).
