Pastor arrested over abducting 2 girls for s3xual rituals in Mzuzu

Police in Mzuzu are keeping in custody Pastor Austin Beza of God’s Army Fellowship and four others for reportedly marrying 2 girls unlawfully.

According to the reports, the two girls went missing in January this year and law enforces together with police launched a search for these girls.

According to Northern Region Police Deputy Publicist Maurice Munthali said the investigation resulted to an arrest of suspects, all faithful of God’s Army Fellowship.

“The pastor is believed to have abducted the two and claims to have been directed by God that the girl will be married to him and one of his friend,” he said.

He added that the pastor threatened the girls that God will punish them with death if they will not accept the marriage.

Chapola said the suspects will answer the charge of abduction contrary to section 262 of Penal code with a maximum of seven years in jail if found guilty.
