258 people recover from COVID-19 in Malawi

A total of 258 people have recovered from the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the country, faceofmalawi can reveal.

This has been disclosed in a statement released Presidential Task force on Coronavirus signed by its Chairperson Dr. John Phuka.

According to the statement, a total of 10790 Malawians have been tested and out of the figure 730 have tested positive to the virus.

Phuka further said that out of 730 cases, 258 Malawians have recovered bringing the total of active cases to 461.

The death toll has jumped from four to 11.
