Newly registered voters denied to vote

Some Malawians who registered in 2020 are still flocking to polling centres in Dedza to cast their vote but they are being sent back.

District Civic Education Officer for Dedza NICE, Patrick Siwinda, told Zodiak that this is because most Malawians are eager to vote hence the development.
Meanwhile MDF soldiers have dispersed some Malawians who gathered within 100 meters of Umbwi polling centre as this is against electoral laws.
Supreme Court ordered Malawi Electoral Commission to delete voters roll of those who registered in 2020 and use 2019 voters roll of 2019.
