MEC Yet to Receive Final Poll Results

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Justice Chifundo Kachale has said the commission is yet to receive final results at the man Tally Center in Blantyre, College of Medicine.

MEC chairperson said the remarks this morning during a press briefing.

According to Kachale, the commission is yet to tell the first phase of the poll results saying for no the commission has not received anything.

The commission will be physically receiving poll results from District Returning Officers who are traditionally District Commissioners.

The commission has opted for manual transmission of results.

Meanwhile, MEC presser is underway in Blantyre.
