Mutharika’s Press Secretary Justice Mponda Quites

Former president Peter Mutharika’s press secretary officer Justice Mponda has rendered his resignation on the position with immediate effect.

In a press statement made available to this publication, Mponda thanked his media colleagues he worked with for the past 6 years when he was a presidential press officer.

“I once again thank them all for their unwavering support. It was an exciting job coordinating media affairs at Plot Number 1 because of their support,” he said.

Mponda added also thanked the Director General Peter Mukhito and his immediate boss Mgeme Kalirani who has also resigned from his position.

“Let me also thank the Director General Mr. Peter Mukhito, my immediate boss Mgeme Kalirani and all colleagues who made life easy for me. Because of them, I have learnt lessons no classroom can teach,” he added.
