Ballot papers for fresh Presidential polls to jet in tomorrow

The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has said ballot papers for the fresh Presidential polls will arrive in the country on Friday, 2020.

MEC Chairperson Justice Dr Chifundo Kachale disclosed this this today during National Elections Consultative Forum (NECOF) meeting held in the capital Lilongwe.

Kachale said this follows completion of printing works by the company that was contracted by the electoral body from Dubai.

He however disclosed that MEC is in shortfall of MK8 billion.

The fresh Presidential polls are scheduled for June 23, 2020.
