Chakwera on campaign tour in Mzimba

Tonse Alliance torchbearer Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is also President of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is in Mzimba campaigning ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for June 23, 2020.

Chakwera has already passed Jenda Trading Centre campaigning and he is expected to hold the main campaign at Mzimba boma.

On Thursday, Chakwera held a number of whistle stop tours in Rumphi district where he was accompanied by former Vice President Khumbo Hastings Kachale.

Chakwera promised to construct an International Airport in Mzuzu once voted into power on June 23, 2020.

In a related development, Tonse Alliance runningmate Dr. Saulos Chilima is in his home district of Ntcheu campaigning in redness for the fresh polls.
