State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also Tonse Alliance runningmate is today in his home district of Ntcheu campaigning ahead of the fresh Presidential polls scheduled for June 23, 2020.
According to the programme seen by this publication, Chilima is expected to hold nine whistle stop rallies in Ntcheu Bwanje North and Ntcheu Bwanje South constituencies.
Chilima first stopped Nthumbo Community Day Secondary School ground befor proceding to Kasinje Primary School.
Group Village Head Yesaya 1 has asked Dr. Chilima to consider constructing a health facility in the area saying a nearby health centre is in Dedza where his subjects are sometimes denied access to medication.
On Friday, Chilima who is also President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) will be in Ntcheu South and Central constituencies campaigning for Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
On Saturday, Chilima will be in Ntcheu North East and will hold a main campaign rally at Mtumba Ground in the district.
In related development, Tonse Alliance torchbearer Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is also President of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is today holding a number of whistle stop tours in Rumphi and Mzimba North.
Malawi will hold fresh Presidential polls on June 23, 2020.
