Tonse Alliance youths in early celebration in Lilongwe

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that youths in Tonse Alliance are at Malawi Congress Party (MCP) headquarters in the capital Lilongwe to celebrate the victorious of its torchbearer in the fresh Presidential polls held on Tuesday.

Unofficial results from all the districts of Malawi indicate that Tonse Alliance presidential candidate Lazarus Chakwera of MCP has won the polls with 59.4 percent beating President Peter Mutharika of DPP-UDF alliance.

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) is scheduled to declare the winner any day from and according to reports inauguration of the President elect will be held in the capital Lilongwe this coming Saturday.

According to information at hand, the inauguration will be held at National Assembly followed official celebration at Bingu National Stadium.
