Malawian in Cooler for defiling his 2 neices

Malawi police in Ntchisi have arrested a 41-year-old man on allegation that he defiled and impregnated his two nieces aged 16 years.

The suspect has been identified as Yosefe Chitedze from Gulumuleni Village whereas the victims are from Tsabvu Village, both from Traditional Authority Kalumo in Ntchisi District.

It is alleged that the first victim was difiled in June 2017 in the garden of the suspect for two times in two different days.

The victim did not reveal the matter to anyone, but the issue came to light when her mother noticed that she was pregnant.

The second victim was defiled in the garden of the suspect again, in January 2019 for three times in three different days.

She was also told not to reveal this to anyone and, that doing so, risk her being killed.

In August 2019, the mother of second victim suspected her to be pregnant and she reveal to her the whole ordeal.

So far the two victims have children.

The suspect was arrested during the weekend, after being at large and during the time of the arrest, he was found with charms.

He will appear in court soon to answer the charge of defilement contrary to Section 138 of the Penal Code.
