Child Refuses To Leave Parents’ Grave Without Knowing They Are Gone Forever

Losing your parents at a young age is undoubtedly one of the most devastating things that could ever happen to someone.

it’s heartbreaking to realize that your mom and dad are no longer going to be around while you’re growing up.

Unfortunately, children have a limited understanding of such overwhelming, trenchant situations. But even grown-ups find it immensely difficult to cope with such a loss.

Sadly, a child named Arfan, from Bachok, Malaysia, had to experience losing both of his parents, Trendzilla reveals. The boy’s parents were involved in a tragic motorcycle accident, leaving him an orphan at a sensitively young age.

Little Arfan found it extremely hard to understand why his mom and dad couldn’t open their eyes anymore. He was also wondering why they were put inside a box. After they were laid to their resting place, the child still didn’t know why they were put in a hole inside the ground. All of this was too hard for the poor kid to process.

As the boy kept asking numerous questions, his relatives decided to make up a story. They told him his parents were now ‘living’ under the sand, Buzzlooks shares.

The young child believed the story he was told. He made it a habit to visit his parents’ grave, hoping they would someday return to him.

In an endearing Facebook post, Arfan’s uncle, Azuan Shamsuddin, says that Arfan loved playing in the area where his parents are buried.

Shamsuddin shares that the boy often shouts, “Mom! Mom!” when he plays around her resting place.

Azuan also explains that while his nephew is a clean kid who doesn’t really like to play in the sand, when he’s at his parents’ grave he truly enjoys it.
