Kenyan man falls from roof after baboon attack

A video has captured the moment a Kenyan man fell down from a roof in the capital Nairobi as he faced a baboon attack.

A video circulating online shows Dickson Maina, a minibus taxi driver, climbing a wall approaching a baboon that is sitting on a corrugated iron roof of a four-storey building.

The animal charges at him as he gets near it. Then he falls down. He was later treated for injuries in hospital.

He told the Standard newspaper he had gone up the building in the built-up neighbourhood after he heard people shouting, attempting to chase away the baboon.

He said he broke his arm as well as sustaining injuries on his face.
