Drama as man is buried while seated and bulls brought to fight on his graveyard

Elderly man was buried while seated as sign of connecting with the ancestors.

The funeral program started early Wednesday morning with a handful mourners majority being elders .

The elders first talked with the deceased to allow them to bury him in a sitting position as a sign of cleansing the village and have divine intervention with the gods of their land.

After the conversation they held another ritual before placing the deceased in the coffin made of sitting position.

After laying the deceased in the grave they chanted merry songs in praise of the man.

Another rare occurence in the burial that left tongues of residents wagging is that of bulls fighting on top of the graveyardThat marks the final send of journey of the man.

According to the elders this ritual is only done for a few selected individuals inorder to connect the living with the dead and spell away any curse upon the family.
