The Founder and Managing Director for General Vision Screen Printers (GVSP) Comrade Dr Feston Kaphanya has said Covid-19 pandemic can be protected by the power of God and not anyone.
Speaking in an interview, Kaphanya said people cannot do anything from this disease apart from Almighty God hence people need to pray hard to combat the pandemic which has so far devastated economically globally.
“Doctors and other people have tried all means to prevent the further spread of the pandemic but they have failed.
“Some countries like South Africa have put lockdown as measures to combat the disease but that has not worked instead the situation has worsen,” he said.
He quoted Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte who said “We have lost control, can’t understand and what more we can do, our solution are exhausted on the ground our hope remain up in the sky, God rescue your people,” ends the quote.
John Masina Leader of Chilobwe African Abraham Church concurred with Kaphanya saying if people fail to listen to God they will perish.
“Lamentations (Maliro) 5 verse 16 says the crown (Corona Virus) is fallen from our head; woe unto us that we have sinned,” he said.
Masina said no-one can protect corona virus from others and for that, people need to seek God’s intervention to fight the Virus.
