In a shocking incident, a man allegedly murdered his 40-year-old son after an argument over a property dispute. The incident took place at Satyanagar area under the territorial jurisdiction of under the Pendurthi police station in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
On Wednesday, a heated argument broke out between Veeraraju and his son Jalaraju over a property dispute, following which the former allegedly killed the latter by repeatedly hitting him with a hammer. The chilling murder was captured on a CCTV camera.
In the video, the accused can be seen attacking his son from behind while he was busy with some work. He continued brutally assaulting him even after he fell on the ground.
The victim died on the spot. After the incident, the accused walked to the local police station and surrendered. An offence of murder under IPC Section 302 had been registered against him and he has been sent to judicial remand.
In another incident, a 28-year-old man allegedly bludgeoned his 65-year-old father to death for disturbing his peaceful slumber with his snoring. The incident happened at Sondha village in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit district. The victim’s elder son lodged a police complaint, following which the accused was arrested and booked for murder.
Police said that the accused used to often assault his father for his snoring habit. He allegedly hit him on the head with a club after he started snoring on Tuesday night, causing his death.
